Description

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to independently handle and oversee billing and accounts receivable in support of George Hills’ clients. Some of the duties assigned are:

• Generate and validate reports necessary to compute client invoices.
• Create and distribute client invoices.
• Research and prepare accounts receivable entries; reconcile and post cash receipts; prepare deposits.
• Responsible for following up on payments, reports, or other items that are not received in a timely manner.
• Perform data entry and integration for timekeeping and billing processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience with Great Plains accounting software or comparable software preferred
• Experience with Time and Expense billing preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related experience.
• At least three years experience working in Accounting in an office environment.
• Principles and practices of accounting including accounts payable and receivable.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced office environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of GAAP principles.
• Strong attention to detail.
